# IDEAgent

> Autonomous coding agent plugin for JetBrains IDEs featuring local RAG indexing, MCP tool integration, multi-agent cross-project coordination (ACP), and an isolated gateway backend.

IDEAgent operates directly inside JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, etc.) to perform autonomous development tasks. Unlike conversational assistants that generate standalone code snippets, IDEAgent investigates the codebase, resolves dependencies, plans multi-step changes, and edits files directly with real-time context synchronization.
